Tier 2 

1:1 Conversations & Feedback Loops

Objectives:

  • Build trust through confidential, non-judgmental 1:1 conversations.

  • Capture insights beyond surveys, including engagement, stress, inclusion, and morale.

  • Provide leadership with anonymised, thematic findings reflecting authentic staff voice.

  • Translate insights into meaningful organisational actions.

Activities & Timeline:

  1. Preparation & Communications (Week 1)

    • Scope focus groups and session formats with leadership.

    • Develop clear staff engagement plan and scheduling support.

  2. 1:1 Staff Conversations (Weeks 2–4)

    • 30–45 min per person, flexible format (phone, video, in-person).

    • Accessibility and interpreter support as needed.

  3. Analysis & Theming (Weeks 4–5)

    • Thematic coding of insights: workload, leadership, systems, inclusion, communication.

    • Highlight risks and opportunities (e.g., burnout, retention risk).

  4. Insight Sharing & Action Planning (Weeks 5–6)

    • Present anonymised findings to leadership (key themes, patterns, quotes).

    • Recommend practical actions: quick wins, root causes, systemic changes.

    • Optional reflection workshop with managers to close feedback loops.

Deliverables:

  • Thematic Summary Report: Key insights, emergent patterns, visual dashboards, early warning signs.

  • Leadership Debrief & Recommendations: Short- and long-term actions, culture risks/opportunities, suggested staff messaging, optional co-creation session.

Tier 3 

Embedded Observation & Strategic Advisory

Phase 1: Preparation & Alignment (Week 0–1)

  • Deliverables: Diagnostic report including culture map, operational insights, and strategic recommendations.

Phase 4: Strategic Recommendations & Planning (Week 7–8)

  • Co-design implementation roadmap with leadership.

  • Prioritise quick wins vs. long-term changes, assign roles and timelines.

  • Deliverables: Strategic Action Plan (3, 6, 12-month), engagement roadmap, optional leadership commitment charter.

Phase 5: Ongoing Coaching & Change Support (Optional, Month 3–6)

  • Support leaders and teams in sustaining behavioural and cultural shifts.

  • Facilitate coaching, reflection sessions, pulse surveys, and adaptive change updates.

  • Deliverables: Coaching summaries, adaptive change reports, measurement framework.
